F450 KK2.0 PowerQuad

3/2013: my current little Power-Quad



This is my attempt to test out 5,8Ghz Video and KK2.0 controller for a cheap multicopter.
KK2.0 board is really nice to setup.
For the "tuning" of the important PI settings your should follow the easy tips in this guide here on RCGropus

Tech Specs:
Frame: DJI Flamewheel F450   (nice and easy to screw togethter!)
Motors: NTM2826-1200/17345 NTM Prop Drive Series 28-26A 1200kv 250Watts!
Props: Graupner eProp 9x5
ESCs: Turnigy Plush 18A
Radio: Scherrer UHF Longrange (red V antenna)
Cam: Gopro2 with liveout (100ms delay - see this video)
VTX: Fatshark compatible 5,8GHz from ElectronicaRC.com (powered directly from Balance plug of flight battery)
Weight: 1015gr (all stuff like gopro and gelpad, but without battery)

Roll/Nick P Gain 55 / Limit 100 I Gain 30 / Limit 20
Yaw P gain 50 / Limit 20 I gain 50 / Limit 10
height dampening 0 (Limit 30)

Pricetag: around 230€ maybe...

    Nice setup, I'm thinking about building similar.. but I have 2 questions:
    - what battery are you using? 3S or 4S?
    - Are your ESCs completly stock or did you modified the software?

    1. I asked him per E-Mail. He replied: 3S 3600mAh. Nowadays he would prefer using 4S with slightly weaker motors (about 900kV) and 9x5 or 10x5 Graupner EProps with this quadrocopter.

  2. Du nimmst ja die NTM Prop Drive Series 28-26A 1200kv Motoren. Wie montierst du auf diesen die Props? Ich kenne da nur diese Adapter mit Spannzange die ich für nicht sehr vorteilhaft halte. Auf deinen Bildern erkenne ich es leider nicht, das das ist dann ein System was ich nicht kenne. Wäre cool wenn du mich aufklärst ;-)
